When should I expect to hear from Piedmont Mechanical?

You can expect to hear from Piedmont Mechanical within 4 Hours during normal business hours (Mon -Fri 8am - 5pm) to schedule a mutually agreeable appointment time.

(NOTE: It is advisable to rearranged your schedule to make your self available during the assigned (offered) time slot to avoid serious delays due to HIGH VOLUME.


My Home Warranty company sent you the work order but I have not heard back?

My repair has been scheduled and what happens next?

Next, the technician will arrive at the scheduled time to diagnose your system. Once determined the issue(s) we will discuss your avaiable options only then will the technician work to resolve the issue(s).


What if the repair is not covered by my warranty?

If you repair is not covered by your warranty we will gladly provide you with a free quote to resolve the issue(s).


What happens if the problem cannot be repaired or parts replaced during the visit by the technician?

If the problem cannot be repaired or replaced during the service call parts may need to be ordered and a new appointment set for the repair/installation.

NOTE: Items associated with the repair or replacement may or may not be covered by your Home Warranty Policy.


Will my Home Warranty provider contact me when the repair/installation has been completed?

Yes, you will be contacted to make sure that the repair or replacement was completed correctly and in a timely manner. You will also receive a questionnaire about the services performed by Piedmont Mechanical from the warranty company via email.


Can I be charged extra for some repairs and replacements?

Yes, you can be charged additionally for the repairs or parts if they are not covered by your home warranty contract. You will be informed (given an estimate) before any work is done or completed if any non-covered repairs are needed.
